A military council fighter plane went missing during flight, according to media associated with the military council.

On July 1, 2025, during a nighttime, long-range training sortie, the fighter jet abruptly disappeared from radar 130 kilometers southeast of Nay Pyi Taw, and all communication was cut off.

It is thought that the aircraft experienced an engine malfunction or a sudden change in the weather.

Despite the terrible weather, search and rescue crews are being sent to the location where communication was lost.
