At the location of the fight, the Bangladesh army discovered the corpses of two KNF members wearing uniforms.

Puting/Dolly, a leader of the KNF with a major rank, was one of the two victims. The other was first thought to be a member of the KNF armed group.

At the conclusion of the operation, the scene yielded a rifle, three submachine guns (SMG), a large quantity of ammo, an arms magazine, the uniform worn by the KNF, and crucial papers.

In the Chittagong Hill Tracts, the Bangladesh Army is dedicated to ensuring the safety of all ethnic groups and will keep carrying out stringent operations against armed organizations in the future.

The KNF is an armed group that advocates for the rights of minorities in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.

Civilians of the Bom (Kuki) ethnic group have been killed, injured, and uprooted during the ongoing conflict in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. According to the Bangladesh Army, 126 of these families have been relocated.
