Arakan Student’s Union (Universities – Yangon) and All Burma Federation of Students Unions (ABFSU) Hold Talks for Rakhine Issue

Arakan Student Union (Universities – Yangon) students along with the leaders of Arakan Students Union and the Central Executive Committee of All Burma Federation of Students Unions (ABFSU) reportedly discussed about the ongoing issues of Rakhine State in Yangon on June 29.


The assistant spokesperson, Ko Kyaw Sor Lin from the Arakan Student’s Union (Universities – Yangon) said, "We happen to discuss about the current situation of Rakhine State and how Rakhine people are feeling. We talk about also the abusive human rights and other basics rights in Rakhine."


The meeting was held said to be offered by the Central Executive Committee of All Burma Federation of Students Unions (ABFSU).


He added that ‘The results of this discussion are to hear the voice of the victims’ students who are trapped in the civil war. And, we hope one single voice for the rights of abusive students. We fully believe that there will be some more other people after Rakhine who can understand the feeling of Rakhine People and who follow to voice up for us’.


Arakan Student’s Union (Universities – Yangon) is ready to corporate with any other association which can appreciate and understand the feelings of Rakhine people.
