At least ten persons, who tested positive for Covid-19, discharged from Sittwe general hospital today evening, informed the medical superintendent Dr Zaw Lwin.
Speaking to Narinjara News, the hospital superintendent also added that they all tested negative for the novel coronavirus infection.
"Ten patients showed negative outcome in the tests and hence they cannot be treated as infectious. We have plans for quarantined at home or in a hospital for those patients,” said Dr Lwin adding that seven of them are women.
Rakhine State recorded 493 Covid-19 cases since 16 August last.
Altogether 272 patients were treated in Sittwe hospital where ten have recovered after medical interventions.
Among the rest, five individuals remain symptomatic and they are treated in intensive care units, concluded Dr Lwin.
