At least ten persons, who tested positive for Covid-19, discharged from Sittwegeneral hospital today evening, informed themedical superintendent Dr Zaw Lwin.
Speaking to Narinjara News, thehospital superintendent also added that they all tested negativefor the novel coronavirus infection.
"Ten patients showed negative outcome in the tests and hence they cannot be treated as infectious. We have plans for quarantined at home or in a hospital for those patients,” said Dr Lwin adding that seven of them are women.
Rakhine State recorded 493 Covid-19 cases since 16 August last.
Altogether 272 patients were treated in Sittwe hospital where ten have recovered after medical interventions.
Among the rest, five individuals remain symptomatic and they are treated in intensive care units, concluded Dr Lwin.
