The 335thjunta battalion under the 12th military Sakhasa command headquarters andMNDAA clashed following which many junta soldiers fled from thebattlefield out of panic.
“They leftbehind some dead bodies and also arms & ammunition," added the Kokangnews item.
At least 16members of the military council were killed and 7 wounded, whereas 10 rifles, a60 mm mortar, onecannon, 218 bullets, 1 transmitter, 1 mobile phone, 1satellite phone, 14 wooden boxes and other military equipment were seized.
At around1 pm on 14 October, a junta column comprising more than 30soldiers, approached the MNDAA camp. A civilian was forced toshow the way towards the MNDAA camp. As the MNDAA membersresponded from a close range the soldiers fell down after sustaininginjuries.
