The 335th junta battalion under the 12th military Sakhasa command headquarters and MNDAA clashed following which many junta soldiers fled from the battlefield out of panic.

They left behind some dead bodies and also arms & ammunition," added the Kokang news item.

At around 1 pm on 14 October, a junta column comprising more than 30 soldiers, approached the MNDAA camp. A civilian was forced to show the way towards the MNDAA camp. As the MNDAA members responded from a close range the soldiers fell down after sustaining injuries.

The battle ended by 4 pm.

Meanwhile, eighth anniversary of the signing of National Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) was celebrated by the military council in Nay Pyi Taw, but the ethnic outfits are facing military aggression in various places of  Myanmar.
