Thecentral committee of All Burma Students Democratic Front (ABSDF) announced that three of its membersincluding vice president Myo Win have been suspended from their political andmilitary duties.
The three ABSDF members attended the militarycouncil-organised eight-year signing celebration of the National CeasefireAgreement (NCA) in Nay Pyi Daw on 15 October.
"Allthree members, who attended the eighth anniversary of NCA without the ABSDFdecision, were suspended from their political posts,” said ABSDF spokespersonSan Ni.
An emergency ABSDF central committee meeting resolved to suspend themimmediately.
BesidesMyo Win, ABSDF members Min Zaw and Saw Maung Maung Oo participated in thecelebration, added spokesperson San Ni.
Mentionableis that the ABSDF participated in the signing of NCA on 12 October 2015. Butlater it announced that the NCA became useless due to various actions bythe military council and hence they decided not to attend the program.
ABSDF,KNU and CNF recently issued a joint opinion stating that the NCA had alreadycollapsed due to relentless harassment of civilians by the junta forces.
