At least seven Myanmar nationals have arrived back in Myanmar from Israel, which is fighting Hamas militants, with the initiative of military council.
Among them four individuals returned in the first batch (on 31 October) and three others came back on 1 November.
The arrived in Bangkok of Thailand from Israel by the international flights and then returned to Yangon by Myanmar Airways International.
The military council is yet to reveal the number of Burmese nationals working in Israel, but it’s estimated to be over three hundred.
A former Myanmar worker in Israel said that most of the Burmese nationals are not interested to return back as they believe they have to face more difficulties in Myanmar (than Israel) under the military rule.
Till date, thousands have been killed in the Israel offensive on Gaza strip, where the Hamas terrorists are hiding and fighting against the Israel soldiers.
