At least 30 civilians were killed and more than 100 injured in recent battles in Rakhine State, said a statement issued by three brotherhood alliances (MNDAA, TNLA and AA).

The casualties were reported due to the shootings of junta forces from 13 to 30 November.

Most of the casualties were related to the selling of junta forces, which targeted even civilians.

No less than 81 civilians were arrested on false accusations that they are associated with the Arakan Army. Out of them only 22 individuals have been released till date.

Over 50 civilians were killed and 16 injured in the special zone one of Kokang region. On the other hand, over 60 civilians were killed and 100 injured in Ta’ang (TNLA) region of northern Shan State.

The statement added that the military council forces targeted the civilians and even used heavy weapons regularly. The soldiers carried out intentional airstrikes, cluster bombs-which are banned across the world, during the night hours.
