The military junta is on the brink of losing battles  in Rakhine State, claims Three Brotherhood Alliance.

In a statement issued last night, the forum asserted that the junta is losing one camp after another in the Rakhine region.

It also added that both large & small military and strategically important junta camps are going to surrender soon.

The Arakan Army (AA) continues its offensives against the junta  camps which are yet to surrender.

The junta forces are also  systematically fortifying their defense arrangements. They have obstructed the access of AA fighters on the roads and even destroyed many bridges.

Their recent approaches indicate that the junta is losing every battle across Myanmar, the statement pointed out.

On 16 February  at 9:25 pm, Ma Ei bridge near Ma Ei area under Taungup township was destroyed by the soldiers. Next day at 2:53 am,  another bridge (Kyauk Kyi Pauk) near Ma Ei town on Ma Ei-Kyaukphyu road was demolished.

Following the mine attack that destroyed Ma Ei bridge, several houses including a local high school building were damaged by the explosion.

Earlier on 12 February, the soldiers destroyed Min Chaung (aka) Ah Myint Kyun bridge at the entry point to Sittwe near Ah Myint Kyun village along Sittwe-Yangon highway.

These bridges are necessary for the civilians for regular transportation and carrying essential

goods, stated the Three Brotherhood Alliance release.
