The  Arakan Army (AA)has successfully captured number 9 advanced training school in Minbya townshipof Rakhine State.

"The training schoolnear Kanni village under Minbya locality was completely captured on 26 Februaryby 7 pm," said a statement issued by the AA.

The AA fighters startedtheir attack at 10:45 am on 17 February and continued for ten consecutive days.

The junta forces fiercelyresisted with airstrikes and artillery shells, but finally they surrendered.

Many junta soldiers werekilled and the AA fighters seized  a large amount of arms and ammunitionfrom the training school.

The AA deeply honours allthose, who fought courageously and made supreme sacrifices during thevictorious offensive.

The AA also disclosed thattheir fighters will launch offensives against the military  camps inRathedaung, Ponnagyun, Buthidaung and Maungdaw townships with an aim to capturethose fully.
