Junta airstrikes again on Kin Chaung village in southern Maungdaw, kill 3 residents, injure 5 others

At least three residents were killed and five others seriously injured as the junta forces conducted airstrikes once again using two jet fighters on Kin Chaung Rakhine village along the road to Ah Ngu Maw in southern Maungdaw township of Rakhine State at around 12 pm on Tuesday, said a local  resident.

 

The deceased individuals include  Bo Kyaw (34) and two women. The injured include Daw Aye Nu Myaing (50), Ma Cho Cho Win (28), Ma Nwe Nwe (20), and two other villagers.


 

The junta forces conducted two airstrikes on Kin Chaung village using two jet fighters this afternoon.

 

"The bombs were dropped by two jet fighters. The actual number of casualties will  be more,” added the resident.

 

On 12 May, five residents of  4-mile Thar Yar Kone and Ngwe Taung villages under  Maungdaw township were seriously injured by the artillery shells fired by the 5th border guard police battalion, stated the residents.
