The Arakha Army (AA) has been extending its support to capture Matupi town of
Chin State, a reliable source informed Narinjara News.
"Once the tactical operation commands are seized,
they will take over the administrative aspects," added the source.
Chin Brotherhood Alliance (CBA) declared on 13 June
that the offensive, termed as Operation CB, began on 9 June targeting
Matupi with support from allied forces including the Yaw Army.
Matupi is connected to Paletwa town, which is now under the control of AA.
Matupi police station and general administration
office were completely captured by the CBA with the support from allied forces.
Now they are continuing the offensive against the 304th light infantry
battalion.
As the battle to capture Matupi intensifies, the junta
forces continue conducting airstrikes on residential places.
