Chiang Mai to host ‘Daring Flowers’ fundraising event for Arakanese IDPs

A fundraising event called the ‘Daring Flowers’ film screening to support Arakanese internally displaced persons (IDPs) will be organised at  Chiang Mai in Thailand.

The event is scheduled for 6 September  at Payap University. Presale tickets are priced at Baht 200, while walk-in tickets will cost Baht 250 per person.

All collections from ticket sales and donations will be used to support IDPs in Arakan State extending assistance with shelter, tents, food, and seeds for planting.

The event will screen four films namely  Guilt, The Unknown Infinity, Together and We Are We. It will also include a discussion, a Myanmar performance and a singing concert.

Additionally, Myanmar food, clothing, and merchandise from Artist's Shelter will be displayed and be made available for sale.
