The Arakan Army (AA) presently controls ThandweTown, Arakan State, where the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP)office was the target of junta bombing. The building was destroyed by theairstrikes, and a child was hurt.
Maung Phoe Cho, 14, of Thandwe Town's No. 8ward, has been recognized as the injured child.
Around 5:00 am on October 25, a local neighborreported that the USDP office and numerous nearby structures were destroyed bybombings carried out by the junta's fighter jet.
"A fighter plane conducted attacks on theUSDP office and the old military recruitment office at approximately five inthe morning today. Two bombs were dropped in all, and a toddler was struck byshrapnel in a nearby home," the resident reported.
In addition to destroying the USDP office andthe military recruitment office, the attacks also damaged homes in the vicinity.
The Arakan Army (AA) still controls ThandweTown, and the junta is still attacking villages and residential areas withaircraft.
In a separate event, the junta conductedairstrikes on the environmental conservation office and the Thandwe townshiphall around 7:40 a.m. on September 26. Thirteen people, including displacedchildren, were killed in this incident, while twenty-five more were injured.
