The Asho Chin Defense Force (ACDF) reports killing 10 juntatroops in a strike on military vehicles heading back from a supply mission toAnn Town in Ngape Township, Magway Region.
An ACDF statement on October 30 said more juntasoldiers were hurt in the attack.
"Around noon on October 28, ACDF and MinbuDistrict PDF Battalion 2 teams hit two junta trucks and two motorbikes on theAnn-Padan road in Ngape Township as they returned from supplying AnnTownship," the group stated.
ACDF confirmed all its fighters and allies gotaway safely.
Locals say junta forces are moving on the Ann-Padan road inNgape Township to back up and resupply Ann Town in Arakan State.
The Arakan Army (AA) and other rebel groupsoften target junta troops on this route.
The junta said earlier on October 16, AAfighters shot at a vehicle about 4,000 meters northeast of Ann Town on the sameroad, hurting four men and two women.
The junta also reported AA troops stopped 10 vehicles nearbyand held 24 men and 14 women.
The AA is now pushing hard to take the WesternCommand base in Ann Town, reportedly capturing several army camps.
The junta is fighting back fiercely to keep theWestern Command, using air attacks too.
