On December 25, four Pa'O and Mon organizations voiced their strong pride in the United League of Arakan/Arakan Army (ULA/AA) for its extensive political vision and partnership with various marginalized ethnic groups, including the Bamar people, in the fight for freedom from oppression.

The four ethnic armed organizations include the Pa-O National Liberation Organization (PNLO), Pa-O National Federal Council (PNFC), New Mon State Party-Anti Military Dictatorship (NMSP-AD), and Mon State Federal Council (MSFC).

The joint congratulatory message was released to commemorate the Arakan Army’s (AA) triumph over the Western Command and the freedom of Arakan State.

The message states, "As a result of the political leadership from the United League of Arakan (ULA) and the courage of the Arakan Army (AA), the Western Command was seized on December 20, 2024. This message also commends the ongoing bravery and resolve of the Arakan Army (AA) in their struggle to drive the junta forces out of all of Arakan State in the near future.”

The message conveys pride in the ULA/AA’s expansive political outlook, advocating for the liberation of Arakan State as well as the efforts of the Bamar people and other marginalized ethnic communities throughout Myanmar. It underscores the immense potential of Arakan State, which will be the first to gain freedom from the military dictatorship.

The Three Brotherhood Alliance, which includes MNTJP/MNDAA, PSLF/TNLA, and ULA/AA, declared in their New Year's message on January 1, 2023, "We will persist in doing what we can and must to reach the shared objectives of us and all the Myanmar people, to address the current situation effectively, and to combat the military dictatorship."

Consistent with that statement, the congratulatory message emphasizes that across the Union, the people's revolution has attained consecutive victories through the first and second waves of Operation 1027, making the defeats of the military junta quite apparent.

The message goes on to say, "We are united in the struggle for the freedom of everyone, with the conviction that partial liberation cannot result in genuine freedom and that only when everyone is free will real liberation occur; this triumph is not solely the triumph of the Arakan people but also of all ethnic communities."

The message reaffirms a pledge to solidarity with the Three Brotherhood Alliance and various revolutionary forces in the common fight to dismantle the military dictatorship and establish a federal democratic union that is sought by all ethnic groups.
