On February 13, a blaze ignited by leftover debris in Let Ma (Muslim) village, Minbya Township, Arakan State, consumed four Muslim residences, turning them to ash.

The blaze ignited at approximately 4:30 PM because of carelessness related to remaining debris.

It started at U Ali Amauk's house, where the remnants of a stove sparked the fire. The flames rapidly engulfed the residences of his neighbors: U Nu Hu Sin, U Shaung Shu Alaung, and U Khama Lu Saung, all of which were ruined.

Relevant authorities are currently initiating legal proceedings against U Ali Amauk, the owner of the property where the fire started.

The Arakan Army (AA) has released fire safety alerts to safeguard individuals from similar dangers in regions it governs. The AA has encouraged residents to stay alert to fire hazards and adhere to fire safety protocols.
