The Chinland Defense Force - Asho (CDF-Asho) attacked a junta convoy withdrawing from Nat Yae Kan camp, where the Arakan Army (AA) was launching an assault, resulting in the death of seven soldiers and the capture of arms.

At 1:30 pm on February 22, CDF-Asho attacked a convoy of more than 100 junta troops carrying weapons and ammunition from the Nat Yae Kan Air Defense Forces in Ngape Township, Magway Region. According to a statement from CDF-Asho issued on February 22, the assault took place on the old Nat Yae Kan road, roughly 3,000 meters to the west of the Pyin Wa checkpoint.

In the assault, one of the four military vehicles sustained damage, another ignited, and seven junta troops were killed on the spot.

The report additionally indicated that one member of CDF-Asho was killed, while another sustained injuries.

CDF-Asho reported that it had confiscated four small firearms and multiple rounds of ammunition from the junta troops.

Since February 18, the Arakan Army (AA) has launched an attack on the Nat Yae Kan tactical operation command, made up of around 400 troops, along Ann-Padan Road in Ngape Township. This region is situated on the border between Arakan State and Magway Region. Military sources on the frontlines report that the fighting intensified on February 20.

A source close to the resistance groups revealed to Narinjara News that the AA and CDF-Asho have been blocking columns of junta reinforcements, leading to a chaotic retreat of junta troops.

"The reinforcement columns were unable to arrive at the Nat Yae Kan front. They were intercepted, leading some to retreat in chaos," the source stated.

Troops from the Padan Artillery Battalion and the junta's arms production facility (KaPaSa) in the Magway Region were dispatched to the Nat Yae Kan front.

On February 19, CDF-Asho released a statement accompanied by a video, indicating that it had intercepted a junta column bolstering the Nat Yae Kan tactical operations command near the Thein Lay Sel curve, situated between Sat Si village and Pyin Wa village along the Ann-Padan road in Ngape Township.

CDF-Asho mentioned that it had confiscated some ammunition from the junta convoy, which also withdrew.
