Military Drones Release Bombs on Kap Tha Pyay Village in Kyaukphyu, Destroying 20 Homes and Wounding One Inhabitant

Junta drones released bombs on Kat Tha Pyay village in Kyaukpyu Township, Arakan State, amidst ongoing conflict, resulting in injuries to a local resident. 

The hurt individual, 56-year-old U Ba Thein Aung, lives in Kat Tha Pyay village. 

A local resident stated that his injuries resulted from drones belonging to the junta's Dhanyawadi naval base in Kyaukpyu, which dropped a minimum of 10 bombs on the village on March 10, between 11 am and 3 pm.

"A man suffered a facial injury from shrapnel due to the drone strike," the local stated. 

U Ba Thein Aung is presently undergoing medical care for his injuries. 

Local residents reported that the junta's drone bomb attack destroyed at least 20 homes in Kat Tha Pyay village. 

Sane Cottage Hospital in Kyaukpyu Township was targeted at approximately 3 a.m. yesterday by two drones belonging to the junta's No. (18) naval base at Taung Maw Gyi in Kyaukpyu, which released two bombs. 

The assault also obliterated the surgical room at Sane Hospital. 

On March 6, the junta initiated drone strikes on U Gin village in Kyaukpyu Township and Wah Bo village in Sittwe Township, destroying over 200 homes.
