106 civilians killed, 134 wounded in Rakhine over three months as a result of Junta forces' assaults

As per a report from Narinjara, 106 civilians lost their lives and 134 sustained injuries in Rakhine during the three months of March, February, and January as a result of Junta forces' assaults.

In March, seven individuals, including two women, lost their lives, and 18 sustained injuries.

The deceased and wounded included children, women, teenagers, and older adults.

In February 2025, 14 civilians lost their lives and 33 were wounded due to attacks by junta forces, while in January, 85 were killed and 83 were injured.

The military council conducted airstrikes in townships such as Kyauk Phyu, Gwa, Mrauk U, Kyauk Taw, and Ponna Kyunt, which are under the control of the Arakan Army.

Most of the casualties resulted from the military council's airstrikes, while additional casualties were noted from the junta's artillery and gunfire.
