The three brotherhood Alliance (ULA/MNDAA/TNLA) declared on May 1 that it has prolonged their unilateral ceasefire for an additional (1) month.
The ceasefire is being prolonged for an additional month to facilitate the removal of damaged structures and humanitarian aid associated with the earthquake's impact.
The uniliteral ceasefire has been prolonged for an additional month, now lasting from May 1 to May 31, 2025.
Even after one month, the recovery and debris removal efforts nationwide are still not completely effective. As a result, the three-brotherhood alliance has decided to prolong the unilateral humanitarian ceasefire for an additional month, as mentioned in the statement.
The Alliance declared the initial unilateral ceasefire from April 1 to April 30 to enable humanitarian aid and recovery efforts following the earthquake. This is the second time.
The announcement indicated that throughout this ceasefire, the three-brotherhood alliance will refrain from initiating any offensive actions in regions where conflict is occurring with the military council, unless it is for self-defense.
