Ten civilians, including bride and children, lost their lives in a military airstrike on a wedding ceremony in Bago

A military airstrike targeted a wedding reception house in Kyun Gyi Village, Kyauk Gyi Township, Bago Region, resulting in the deaths of 10 civilians, including the bride and children, with numerous others injured.

The PDF No. 2 Operation Area, News and Information Service, announced that airstrikes struck the village on the morning of May 25, with no combat taking place.

The statement reported, "The military airstrike obliterated the house, resulting in the immediate deaths of (10) individuals, among them the bride and children, while injuring over (20) more."

In this assault, the military airstrike focused on villages occupied by civilians who were not engaging in combat without military objectives. The statement indicated that the strikes were deliberately aimed at populated areas.
