Reports indicate that three soldiers who escaped from the Nattyekan Air Defense Base in the Rakhine Yoma, where the Arakan Army is actively engaging, have been captured along with weapons by the Chin Defense Forces - Asho CDF.

The Nattyekan Air Defense Base is located in Ngaphe Township, at the border of the Rakhine and Magway Regions.

The Chin Defense Forces - Asho CDF announced the capture on June 10, stating that the three soldiers had been forced to serve in the Myanmar army under public service law.

These soldiers, identified as members of the Military Council militia, escaped from the base on June 4 while on guard duty at the front line.

The statement, accompanied by a photograph, also reported the seizure of three MA-type small arms and additional ammunition that had been carried by the three militiamen.

The Chin Defense Forces - Asho are urging military council members stationed at the Nattyekan Air Defense Base to reach out to revolutionary forces and collaborate as soon as possible.
