“We are making preparations for air defense. We don’t have
any big weapons we can shoot. We can’t do it alone to defend against
airstrikes. We are working with our partner organizations across the country.
We will continue to do it,” he added.
At present, the military council force is becoming weaker
and weaker. It is using the guerrilla system in Chin State and relies mainly on
aircraft rather than heavy weapons.
Salai Htet Ni said that we have prepared for military strategy as much as
possible to fight the military council force.
The military council dropped bombs in downtown Thantlang of
Chin State, twice with two jet fighters from 12.45 pm to 1.10 pm on 10 October.
There were no reports of any casualties from our side, Salai Htet Ni,
Spokesperson of the CNF said.
The bombing of the Mung Lai Hkyet IDP camp near Laiza of
Kachin State at night on 9 October vividly shows the military council’s
violence, he continued.
ÒFor that, we will not be afraid. The public will not be
afraid. Because no one will accept the actions of the military council, and
hatred will grow, he continued.
Chinland Defense Forces (CDFs) attacked the Light Infantry
Battalion-269 military camp in Thantlang of Chin State on 28 August.
On 12 August, the CDFs attacked 168 military headquarters
based in Falam and seized arms.
