Narinjara News, 8 April  2022

The wreckage of a Chinese space shuttle fell into the Rakhine sea on the morning hours of Thursday.

Those pieces poured over the sea about 27 miles northwest of Nantha island under Thandwe township at around 6:30 am without causing any damage to anyone.

"I heard it was early in the morning, but no damage is reported till now," said U Tun Thant Kyaw, a resident of Thandwe.

Rakhine State military council also confirmed the incident that took place on 7 April.

The space shuttle ruins landed in the sea at least four times since February 2022.

Kyaw Than, a former member of Amyotha Hluttaw (National Assembly) from Man Aung township, told Narinjara News that frequent incidents of the crashes of spacecraft in Rakhine State could hurt people dependent on fisheries.
