151 junta soldiers, who fled to Mizoram, India, during the battles at Point-377 camp and the Myeik Wa battle in Paletwa Township, Chin State, were flown back to Sittwe by Myanmar military aircraft.

Indian news agencies also reported that the soldiers have been sent back to Myanmar.

On January 2, the first group of 84 soldiers, followed by a second batch of 67, were airlifted from Lengpui airport in Aizawl, Mizoram, by Junta Air Force aircraft.

On December 29, during the AA's attack and capture of the Point-377 hill-based camp, a stronghold of the junta in Paletwa Township, the soldiers abandoned the camp and fled with weapons into India.

Indian news reports indicate that a Myanmar military aircraft landed at Lengpui airport in Mizoram, took back the junta soldiers, and is set to transport them to Sittwe Township.

The junta's 377th Battalion is based in Mrauk-U Township.

The BBC, citing Indian news, reported today that the New Delhi government has arranged for the return of junta forces from Lengpui airport, with plans to transport these soldiers back to Sittwe, the capital of Rakhine state.

On December 29, the soldiers entered Tuisen Village in the Lawngtlai District of Mizoram State, India.

Following this, the junta soldiers surrendered their weapons to the Indian police station, and subsequently, the police station handed both the soldiers and the weapons over to the Assam Rifles.

On December 29, the AA reported the complete capture of the junta's Point-377 hill-based camp in the Paletwa region along the India-Myanmar border on December 28 at 9:20 AM.
